Welcome to our Branch
"Thank-you for looking up Cumbria on the CPA site.
We also want to thank the many people whom we know are holding up members of Cumbria Constabulary and the local community in prayer at this time. Thank-you for so many messages of support.
The recent events in the Whitehaven area, where Evil certainly visited us, show us how much we have to rely on a loving saviour to help us through these tough times.
Having said that, so many people are left wondering 'why'. Please pray for wisdom for the local CPA team and the church community as we all try to make some sense of it.
The events of the last few weeks come close on the heels of another tragedy, the coach crash near Keswick. The coach contained several officers children and one of those who died was related to a serving officer.
Please pray for that peace which we know only God can bring, for real strengthening of the communities over the coming weeks and months as they try to recover."

No perfect people allowed!
Our aim is simple, to support and encourage Christians working within Cumbria Constabulary to live out their Christian lives in the workplace. We don't want our colleagues to be religious, but we do want them to have a relationship with Jesus. We know that He transforms lives and we want to be the salt and light in the communities where we work. We can’t do this alone so we need your prayers.
