"It is a real privilege to serve in the heart of London. The City community is a dynamic, exciting 24hour community at the cutting edge of business and vital to the prosperity of the nation. The City of London Police reflect this community and the City Branch of the Christian Police Association seeks to serve all our staff, enabling them to follow God's will for their lives. This also fosters good relationships with Churches and other Christian organisations within our area, forming part of a greater Christian network."

We enjoy 3 meetings a month, two of them prayer meetings, one a fellowship meeting over lunch. All staff are welcome to any or all of the meetings. We provide a confidential advisory service for staff who are experiencing 'turbulence' within either home or work life. The branch is part of the force consultative process on policies and procedures as well as giving general advice on faith issues.
As from 27th May 2010 we are engaging on a Lunchtime course called 'The Case for Christ'.This is a 6 part course examining the basis of evidence for the Christian faith and will include discussion time.
Longer term we are working on a launch of 'Redeeming Our Communities' in 2011. This is an initiative to link Police, local authorities and Churches into social action connected to Policing.
