Welcome to our Branch
"In the Metropolitan Police, the Christian Police Association
seeks to share the love of God, shown in Jesus. We support
and encourage Christians and anyone who needs our help,
in the challenging work of policing.
Much of the most important work of CPA takes place locally. This is organised by over 50 CPA Reps. We currently have a CPA Rep for most of the 32 London Boroughs as well as for a number of departments and police buildings. There are around 25 Fellowship Groups that meet around London.
London-wide events in 2010 are:
- Sat 26 June, 3-6pm, BBQ at Chigwell Sports Club.
- Fri 24 Sept, 6.30-8.00pm, Annual Celebration at Westminster Central Hall.
- Mon 6 Dec, 7pm, MPS Carol Service at All Souls Langham Place.

There is a new version of the CPA intranet page which has been launched on the MPS AWARE system.
Go to A-Z index, then Christian Police Association, this will open the Home Page. Save it as a favourite.
As this is a secure system accessible only to MPS staff you will find the contact details of all the CPA leaders and the time, dates and places of all the CPA meetings throughout the MPD.
The MPS is one of the largest employers in London (!) so, as you might expect, the size of the London branch of the CPA is also quite large with lots going on all the time, including special events.
