Welcome to our Branch
"Welcome to the Gloucestershire Branch of the CPA.
Our policing purpose in Gloucestershire is to keep people safe from harm and inspire their confidence in us, their local police. As officers and police staff we work within the Criminal Justice system, and we know that ultimately all of our actions are about relationships and interactions with individuals, whether they are colleagues, victims, witnesses or offenders.
The Gloucestershire CPA supports Christian colleagues to live out their faith, particularly in the workplace. The Association represents a network of members and associates across the county. Most are connected to and serving within churches in Gloucestershire."

Branch News
The Gloucestershire branch supports Street Pastors operating in our main urban centres at Cheltenham and Gloucester. These are expanding to cover more nights and are proving popular and very beneficial to ensuring peace and safety in our nighttime economy.
The branch provides prayer points to churches in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and the Forest of Dean. Christians in the community to pray about issues and for their policing teams.
Alongside other staff associations, our CPA branch regularly assists the Constabulary in the formulation of policy and procedures. We are active in supporting equality and diversity.
We are running workplace 'God at Work' courses for colleagues during the autumn.
